2019 School Sunflower Competition

We can’t quite believe a year has passed already, but we will be rolling out our free Essex wide School Sunflower Growing competition again this month.

Last year saw 80 schools across North Essex compete, to grow the tallest sunflower. The winners won a selection of Fillpots plants and accessories to use in their school gardens, with a picture of their school and winning sunflower, in the local papers.

All competing schools were sent their own packet of sunflower seeds and instructions on how to plant and grow them successfully.

The Sunflower pack will be sent out this month and a winner will be chosen in September.

If you would like to take part, please email us, with a postal address, for which the pack will be sent to: [email protected]

If you would like more information, please do get in touch.
We hope you will join in!
